I love the food. The tables are spread apart. The staff is constantly cleaning table. Today I tried the Sweet and Sour chicken managers special. It was $8.49 for the rice, egg roll, chicken l, egg drop soup and a tea. It was delicious!

Just awesome lunch special lemon chicken off the hook good very hot and fresh unsweetened tea fresh bathrooms had soap and hot water I will definitely be back to eat again!

I had one of the lunch specials, sweet and sour chicken - a GREAT value! Normally this is not a dish I would order because every where I've ordered it the chicken has been dry. That was definetely not the case here. The batter was light but very crispy and the chicken was so moist it was literally glistening. The sauce was neither too runny or too thick - it was perfect. Everything was fresh and the portions are very generous, I had enough leftover for a 2nd meal. Service was great too, very friendly employees. Will absolutely be back!

It is a budget friendly restaurant with very reasonable prices and the food is good as well as not being greasy. So oil they used didn’t make it greasy at all and it tastes great. Plus you get a lot for your money there. 😁

Michael and the entire crew at "Ming Garden Express" made our Dad's 101st Birthday an awesome success🙌. The food was fast, delicious, and the service was great! We were a party of 20 and everyone enjoyed their meal with many taking home what they couldn't finish, in their convenient to go boxes. Seating and wait time was a non issue which was perfect with us being such a large group! Definitely recommend 👌 for parties they even let us bring our own backdrop, and assisted with a large group picture! Such an AMAZING TEAM!! Thank you guys again for making our celebration one to truly remember!! My favorite is the lemon chicken. My daughter loves the lo-mein, and my Dad loves the walnut fried shrimp😋

ordered takeout from here once, very meh, decided to give it another chance today and OH MY GOD. I think all the difference is in what you ordered. Today I got the spicy fried rice (it's basically sriracha egg fried rice), it was BOMB, the general tso is pretty standard, but the broccoli chicken is amazing. Can't beat the price either, new chinese spot 100%

Try not to let the area discourage you. And the dining area.. is 11 tables with about 20 feet separation right out of covid design... Ignore the boxes.. their focus is on the food, which was excellent. This is the second place I have found sweet and sour pork that is sauce cooked in NOT pork nuggets with packaged sauce poured on...ACTUALLY COOKED IN!! Golden wok is the only other place that did that but last 3 visits have been very hit /miss.

I’ve never tried Ming Garden Express and it’s 5 min away from my house. I searched on Google best Chinese food in San Antonio and this came up and Google was right. The food is flavorful great portion and amazing price. I got the General TSO Chicken it was the special for Sunday it comes with the General TSO Chicken, fried rice or white rice, an egg roll or Crab Rangoon with an amazing egg drop soup for only $8.79 plus tax, can’t beat the price. 10/10 recommend. PS: The egg drop soup was half way down and was in the process of eating my food before I thought of taking a picture and posting my review 😁
